Gaskets & Jointing Sheets

Gasket Sheeting

Non-Asbestos Sheet Jointing

Its formulation contains an advanced carbon Fibre material and a nitrile rubber (NBR) binder. An anti-stick finish to both surfaces is supplied as standard.

Foam & Closed Cell Neoprene gaskets

We have a direct route and complete technical support for the development of new foam gasket shapes. We have the ability to create shapes which many others cannot achieve, and have at our disposal state of the art equipment and bespoke equipment and tooling where necessary to achieve a product design. As well as being able to supply simple sheets and rolls of foams with and without self adhesive backings.

Cork Jointing

Cork jointing are produced by blending the major components of high quality cork granules with synthetic or natural rubbers. Cork provides the natural compressibility needed for flange joints, as well as resistance to most commonly used chemicals apart from acids and alkalis. Rubber binding agents add resilience and mechanical strength to the product. Chemical resistance of a particular grade is enhanced by the elastomer used.

Gasket Material

Gasket material with excellent torque retention, good steam and thermal resistance. BA-GL is an excellent gasket material composed of glass fibres and Nitrile NBR rubber. Material has a superior torque retention and good steam resistance. Asbestos free gasket material BA-GL has very good thermal resistance in combination with good gas sealability. Material is also suitable for use with water, oils, gases, fuels and many acids BA-GL complies with the requirements of BS 7531 Grade X and covers the very wide application range.

Vegetable Fibre Jointing

Specially impregnated to provide high resistance to petroleum derivatives, solvents and lubricating oils.

Branded Jointing also available. Contact us for details.

It includes the latest additions to the Hi-Force range. Most notably, the PB range of Hydraulic Pipe Bender (see page 145) and the GTB Giant Bead Breakers and PTB Combi bead breakers (see page 157), which are already proving popular.
Also new to the range is the HP211 aluminium manually operated hand pump weighing just 2 kilograms, the HTW2000B manual torque wrench with a capacity of 2000Nm, the HT3000 and HT4500 torque multipliers with capacities up to 3000Nm and 4500Nm respectively, the XHR1, 300 meter hose reel located on page 104, the new range of air drive hydrotest pumps – AHP3 (see page 114), the SJS10-M jaw spreader with built in manually operated hand pump, and finally the addition of the Toughlift tool box which has been specifically designed to store and protect Hi-Force Toughlift accessories. Other changes to look out for are the ERA’s (extended reaction arms) which have been added to both the TWS-N and TWH-N hydraulic torque wrench series allowing for greater user versatility, the Hi-Force manually operated foot pump is now available both with (HP227FPC) and without (HP227FP) a pressure gauge, mounting block and hose, and protective bellows have been added to the HPC range of single acting pull cylinders. Users of the catalogue should also note the changes to the Hi-Force tensioner range which now has all new component and conversion kit model numbers which can be found on page 87.
